Accomplished Entrepreneur, Kemi Oladunni Fajana, Thanks God at 50

More than drums were rolled out, and all available stops pulled as the duo of Oloye Otunoba Bayo and Engr. Oluwole celebrated their adorable sister, who doubles as the CEO of the luxury supermarket, Twins Faja, and prominent distributor of Dangote Cement, Chief (Mrs.) Kemi Oladunni Fajana, as she majestically strolled into the golden age.

The 50th birthday soiree, which was anchored by the duo of Damola and Ajoke Ewa Ede was held at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, with a retinue of notable dignitaries cutting across the business and political circle, including the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Abdulhakeem Owoade I, in attendance.

The event, showcasing all the trappings of classic started with the heralded arrival of the gorgeously dressed celebrant, accompanied by her family members and friends as popular chanter, Remi Chanter ushered her in with hailing, straddled in her scintillating performance, even as the celebrant displayed joyous leg movements, expressing both happiness and dancing prowess.

As she made her way to her seat, having shared loud pleasantries with guests, the opening prayer by Pastor Akin Fasawe was said, and thereafter a word of exhortation by Bishop Shobanke, was shared.

While extolling the golden birthday girl, Bishop Shobanke prayed for her long life in continuous wealth and health, asking God to grant her the privilege to enjoy the fruits of her labour in her children and business.

After the sermon, goodwill messages were presented by close family members including her spouse, brothers, children and close associates, to the delight of all present. Everyone, who spoke agreed that Mrs Fajana was a woman of substance, whose candour, philanthropy and welfaristic approach, has spread to as many that has come in contact with him.

As the brief service ended, the celebrant reappeared shortly, her second entry on the day, clad in a different attire, looking angelic, and reflecting her golden celebration. She was ushered into the venue this time by popular Gospel Musician, Evangelist Esther Igbekele, with sounds that resonate with her personality, amid soulful adoration to God Almighty.

Amid a combination of good music, presented by popular hip hop artist, 9ice, and flow of assorted dishes and drinks in the menue, the venue came alive, and remain consistently bubbly even as guests ahuffled the feet to the rhythm of classic music and profitable networking.

One of the major highpoints of the event was cutting of the 50th birthday cake, which was performed and conducted by the Alaafin of Oyo himself.

Fuji music crooner, Sulaimon Alao Adekunle, popularly known by his stage name KS1 Malaika, was also on the band stand to entertain the guests as more delicious delicacies and choice made the rounds amid high octane networking.

Strategically and enterprisingly endowed, Mrs Fajana is a fine blend of academic demure and excellence cutting across all fields of human endeavours. Without mincing words the contribution of Mrs Kemi Oladunni Fajana to the growth which Twins Faja Nigeria Limited has experienced in the last two decades has seen the company become a group of companies, a conglomerate by all standard and a brand to reckon with in its chosen field of endeavors.

Mrs Fajana was born on August 1, 1975.
