Tom Cruise Wins Best Action Movie Actor Award

“Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,” the Tom Cruise drama known for its adrenaline filled scenes and death-defying stunts just received an award for Best Action Movie.

Cruise, who has a penchant for performing his own stunts, also received a Best Actor in an Action Movie trophy from the Critics Choice Association (CCA) at their 5th annual Critics Choice Super Awards.

The largest critics organization in the United States and Canada, CCA represents media critics and entertainment journalists and honored the most popular, fan-obsessed genres across both movies and television with several trophies.

Ryan Coogler’s horror drama “Sinners,” which stars Michael B. Jordan also received two wins. “In the Horror categories, “Sinners” won Best Horror Movie, and Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor in a Horror Movie.

Hugh Jackman, Demi Moore, Jodie Foster and Colin Farrell  also received Best Actor accolades.
