The daytime talk show, “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” has received three Emmy nominations for Outstanding Hairstyling and Makeup, Talk Series Host and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series.
Hosted by actress and singer Jennifer Hudson, the series which has amassed a huge social media following with its behind-the-scenes promotional videos, premiered on U.S. television in 2022.
The Daytime Emmy Awards is an annual event that recognizes outstanding achievement in television programming and the categories up for awards are daytime dramas, talk series and actors with roles in daytime shows.
Popular court dramas “Divorce Court,” “Judy Justice” and “Justice For The People with Judge Milian” will compete for Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program.
Other nominees include Anthony Mackie’s “Shark Beach with Anthony Mackie: Gulf Coast” who received a nod for Outstanding Daytime Personality.
This year marks the debut of several new categories, including Outstanding Culinary Cultural Series, Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series, and Outstanding Regional Content in a Daytime Genre.
Ovation will be covering the ceremony which is will take place on Friday, October 17 in Pasadena, California.
